Meet Your Coach, Maggi Brigham

Daisies

A Note from Maggi

I’m passionate about helping women overcome panic attacks as I love to help people heal, give them hope, and empower them to live life to their full potential. Functional Breathwork has magical powers to do just that. And when we add Neuro-Linguistic Programming to the toolbox, it sometimes seems like a miracle. But it’s neither magical nor miraculous, it’s science!

I understand my clients’ suffering on a deep level, because I, too, struggled with similar attacks, and the debilitating effects on all aspects of life, until I discovered the power of Functional Breathwork combined with Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Now I apply the same methods that healed me, to help other women overcome panic attacks and feel healthy, hopeful and empowered. Watching their overall state of mind change from panic to calm, grounded, focused and energetic, fills my life with purpose and my heart with joy!

I love that what I do is both seen as alternative/complimentary medicine and science based. There is practically an explosion in the number of studies on the health benefits of Functional Breathwork these days and, probably because of my PhD background, I find it very exciting to be on the research frontier! In a way, it makes me feel like the medical doctor I wanted to be when I was in high school. What I do now is actually better in many ways, because I can help where mainstream medicine has proven itself ineffective or the side effects too harsh. Functional Breathwork has a range of side effects too, but they are all positive! No wonder I’m so passionate about my work!

When she isn't at the Breathwork Clinic helping others regain control, achieve their goals, and live with greater ease and purpose, she finds joy in skiing, hiking, sailing, and paddle-boarding. Through these activities, she embraces the power of Functional Breathwork to steady her mind, move through fear, and push beyond limits—employing the same techniques taught at the Breathwork Clinic.
